But we all face one or the other problem related to our hair. We wanted to give you a little relief by putting together some proven remedies to help your hair become stronger and grow stronger. You will start seeing the required change after following the remedies below.

Truly, we all have challenging hair days, but do you continuously fight with flat or limp locks? It might be time to have a voluminous hair and change the volume of your look. Although there is an abundance of volumizing products available for purchase, you can actually achieve volume without the need to visit the store. If you’re looking to achieve voluminous hair from the comfort of your home, there are several techniques and styling tricks you can try. Here are some ways to add volume to your hair:

1- Blow-drying upside down:

No matter how soft a towel is, it will contribute to damage to your fragile, damp hair. Women often wrap their hair after washing it, which is definitely not recommended because it can damage the hair strands when they get caught in the weave of the towel. If your goal of increasing hair length is realistic, try to stay away from heated hair tools, like hair dryers, straighteners, and curling irons. Any type of heat damages your hair. You can use a hair dryer when your hair is at least 60% naturally dry. You should also use hair protection spray before using a hair dryer.

Flip your head upside down and blow-dry your hair using a diffuser attachment. This method helps lift the roots and create volume. Focus the airflow at the roots while gently scrunching the hair with your fingers.

2- Dry shampoo or powder:

Obviously these two products are quite different and they are definitely products you should consider adding to your hair care arsenal. The powder has a very good texture for adding volume to hair, making it perfect for men and women with flat hair. Dry shampoo is a great choice for those who need a refresher without having to shower regularly to have beautiful hair.

Apply a dry shampoo or volumizing powder at the roots of your hair. These products absorb excess oil and add texture, making the hair appear fuller. Massage the product into the roots and then tousle or brush your hair to distribute it evenly.

3- Layered haircut:

An easy way to create the illusion of thicker hair is to cut off a few inches and add more layers. If you have thinner hair, cutting it short will create more volume because the hair isn’t weighed down. Precise cutting and careful placement of layers can also create volume.

Consider getting a layered haircut, as layers can add natural volume and movement to the hair. Consult with a hairstylist to determine the best layering technique that suits your hair type and desired style.

4- Overnight braiding:

Start by parting your hair with a middle part, then a second part from ear to ear to create four braids. Braid the front two sections close to your scalp to ensure you get volume at the roots. Repeat this step with the remaining two back pieces.

Before going to bed, braid your slightly damp hair into multiple loose braids. In the morning, undo the braids and gently finger-comb your hair. This technique can create natural-looking waves and added volume.

5- Avoid heavy conditioners:

Firstly, there is a misconception about how long conditioner stays on your hair and we have to tell you that it is simply not true. Contrary to popular belief, conditioner has an immediate beneficial effect on your hair. In addition, it also helps us avoid towel damage, which is damage caused by wrapping wet hair in a towel. Don’t think that conditioner is only for certain hair types. This is a must-have product to maintain good health for all hair types. So, apply conditioner after every wash and let your hair down!

Heavy conditioners can weigh down your hair and make it appear flat. Opt for lightweight or volumizing conditioners and apply them to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair, avoiding the roots.

6-  Blend Hair Oils & Never Skip A Massage

You think massaging your hair with a specific oil blend is no big deal until you actually try it. It can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months to see results, but regularly massaging your hair with a warm mixture of essential and carrier oils can increase both the thickness and length of your hair.

Mixing lavender oil with castor or jojoba oil yields great results, but you can always explore other combinations.

7- Add texture with sea salt spray:

Sea salt is great with slightly thinning hair because it allows you to create more creative styles. It makes thin hair look thicker and provides a better base for your styling products to finish off. Your hair will no longer instantly fall flat or lose its shape throughout the day.

Salt water is known to absorb hair’s natural oils, which is why during summer vacation, so many of us gain new texture, volume, and natural curls.

Sea salt spray can give your hair a textured, beachy look while adding volume. Spray it onto damp or dry hair and scrunch or tousle your hair to distribute the product.

Remember that the techniques that work best for you may depend on your hair type, texture, and personal preferences. Experiment with different methods and products to find the ones that give you the desired volume and style.
